About Us

We (Kerrie & Linzi) were born to make things, we want to provide you the opportunity to do so also; by moving our services to you, everyone can stay safe and boost their immune systems with mindful activities and food which suits any dietary needs.

What a lovely place My wife and myself called into Tutbury for a stroll round after visiting Sudbury Hall. We came across Chatterbox Ceramic Café and what a lovely surprise We were greeted very warmly by Linzi and Kerrie who must have seen the surprised look on our face!! They made us at ease and explained that as well as a café you could also purchase a ceramic piece then paint it and have it fire (this would mean waiting for a couple of weeks) The purchase and painting was not compulsory as you could just have a coffee, tea, etc. It is great if you need to children entertained and we shall certainly going back

Lovely place Kids loved it here, gets a little crowded at times but that’s because its so popular, food also good and their hit chocolate is delicious Recommended.

Beautiful little place This place is super. The ladies in there were lovely and super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely milkshake while we painted and spent ages in there. We were not rushed in the slightest and was given lots of help and guidance with out painting. It was a fabulous place and we can not wait to come collect our items:)

managed to keep two teenagers entertained for over 2 hours Spur of the moment decision to try some ceramic painting. Fantastic location with local free parking. The owners were very friendly and offered lots of helpful tips. The selection of items was very good. We are really looking forward to collecting our creations

Fantastic Place I took my 6 year old son here in the school holidays. He chose to paint a Gnome, he thoroughly enjoyed painting it and then getting the finished item. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They make you feel welcome and explain how to paint their chosen item in a simple way they can understand. I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends and will be back again with my son to paint another item.

Nice family outing We visited here for a birthday outing, there were 2 highchairs for both kids, bibs to keep the paint off, a nice menu selection for lunch and good baby changing facilities. The plate was glazed and ready for collection a few days later. There was plenty of pottery to chose from and very friendly staff.

Great Way to Spend a Couple of Hours with the Grandkids Took the grandkids to the cafe, we did book in advance as it is only small, they picked the objects they wanted to paint varies from a couple of quid to £15. Of course they both picked £15 but they both enjoyed the experience. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with tips and hints on how to do the painting. There is a large range of objects to pick from and the price includes paints, glaze and firing. You will need to pick up the items about a week later. We didn’t eat but just had a coffee and soft drinks but the cakes did look nice. Overall a lovely way to spend a couple of hours with the kids, not the cheapest but very enjoyable.

Fabulous cafe with painting for everyone We had a fabulous morning painting in the cafe on Saturday. There were 12 of us from 8 weeks old to 67 and we all (well nearly) had a go at painting something. The owners really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. And the best bit is they are posting the pottery home! Would definitely recommend this!

Fantastic again Kids love this place and if I am truthful I really enjoy it very relaxing and good value and a beautiful dog! Staff amazing and so helpful cakes are good too. Good for younf and old
